SEASIDE - Golden Bough performs Celtic music from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7 at Quatat Park, on the Necanicum River between Broadway and the Seaside Convention Center. This performance is the fifth of seven public concerts presented by Northwest Performing Arts in the 2004 summer concert series titled "Seaside, Where the Stars Play!" In case of rain, the performance will be held at the Seaside Theater, 816 N. Holladay Drive.

Golden Bough has helped increase the popularity of Celtic music of the British Isles. In the recording studio and on stage, Golden Bough captures the essence and joy of traditional folk music. Listeners of all ages enjoy the music of Golden Bough.

Since 1980, cofounders Margie Butler and Paul Espinoza have recorded and performed traditional and their own Celtic music. The newest addition to Golden Bough is violinist Kathy Sierra. CDs will be available at the concert.
