Gospel concert and recording artist Roy Hope will share a program of sacred song and testimony at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bethany Free Lutheran Church, 451 34th St.

Hope's ministry is based in Sinai, S.D. He shares a blend of hymns and contemporary gospel songs with a touch of country western flavor, performing more than 200 concerts a year since 1971 touring throughout the United States, Norway and western Canada.

The public is welcome to attend this free concert. A free will offering will be received for Hope Ministries.

Sunday's services begin with Sunday school for all ages at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Craig Johnson brings the message, "It's Surprising Who Receives the Kingdom," from Matthew 5:10, for the 11 a.m. service. Childcare is provided.

On Tuesday, the John Jacob Astor Elementary School Good News Club meets at 2:30 p.m. and the Confirmation Class is held at 5:30 p.m. Men's prayer is offered at 6 a.m. Thursday. For information, call 325-2595.
