“My family has had a cabin in Seaside for four generations and we come down at least twice a month, and so enjoy bringing donations to the TRI-CITIES SPAY & NEUTER THRIFT SHOP,” DAWN GRISHOW of Aloha wrote (http://seasidespayandneuterthriftshop.com).

Finding herself in a “sea of sequins,” she felt inspired to donate again. “When I realized the amount of beautiful dresses I had acquired and used,” she explained, “both working on shows in Hollywood, Calif., and currently through my business, http://dwduo.com, in which I play the harp, DJ, and sing jazz for events and weddings, I realized it was time to downsize and pass some of them on for others to enjoy.

“I worked on many shows and commercials, including being a regular patron on the show ‘CHEERS,’ and was MADONNA’S STAND-IN on the feature film ‘Who’s That Girl’ and her music video,” she continued. “Anyway, had such fun going through and finding many beautiful dresses to donate.

“It was a misty, rainy day, but the joyful looks on the volunteers’ faces when I donated them ... priceless!”
