“The Astor Street Opry Company is very proud to announce 16-year-old seasoned ASOC veteran performer ALY HANSON (pictured), has been awarded a full tuition scholarship of $3,600 towards the $5,000 tuition needed to attend the MISSOULA CHILDREN’S THEATER’s ‘Next Step Prep’ accredited PERFORMING ARTS SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM,” JUDITH NILAND told the Ear.

“This six week theater program in Missoula, Mont., provides in-depth training with professional actors, dancers and musicians from the performing arts industry,” Judith explained, “including many guest instructors right off Broadway!” Right now, Aly is appearing in ASOC’s production of “Rapunzel.”

“So far,” Judith added, “Aly has raised over $700 from friends and family to complete the funds needed to make this fantastic opportunity happen.” But she needs more to have her dream actually come true. Want to help? Call 503-325-6104.
