Do you have kids who like hands-on activities? Would you like to find out more about how the 4-H program works? Join 4-H adult leaders and kids from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Clatsop County Fairgrounds for activities and workshops that will introduce newcomers to 4-H.

After registering at 9:30 a.m., kids in grades K-3 will move on to crafts, stories, games and songs. Older students can choose to attend workshops including fly fishing, matting and mounting photographs, scrapbooking, rabbit breeding and swine vaccinations.

Interested families are asked to R.S.V.P. by calling the Oregon State University Extension Service at 325-8573. Participants should bring a sack lunch.
