SEASIDE - Known as the "Neon Blonde of Blues" Ellen Whyte is one of top blues divas in the Pacific Northwest. She is a Cascade Blues Association Hall of Fame Inductee and has won Best Contemporary Blues Band, Best Regional Recording and Best Performance. She plays at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12 at Lil' Bayou, 20 N. Holladay Drive in Seaside. $3 cover charge.

Johnny Martin performs his only appearance this season at 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13 at Lil' Bayou. A singer in the tradition of Frank Sinatra, Martin is an entertainer with the energy of Louis Prima. Martin said, "I try to demonstrate in a relaxed and amusing way, that jazz can be fun and that love never goes out of style."

An affable musician with an unforgettable voice, Martin honors the past performers of radio and stage, with just the right amount of humor. With blue eyes and bold emotion, Johnny takes the lyrics of the past and makes them swing like new. There is a $4 cover charge.
