This Fall, Gazoobi Tales of Seattle published his book of poems, "The Five Stages of Quitting Farming." Kulm worked as a stage performer for 20 years, and writes his poetry for performance. He has appeared by invitation at the Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko, Nev.; the People's Poetry Gathering in Lower Manhattan, New York; the Adelaide Fringe Festival in Australia; and on National Public Radio's "All Things Considered," as well as his one-man show at the River Theater.
