The Little Ballet Theatre will perform its 2002 production of Tchaikovsky's complete Nutcracker Ballet Saturday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 8 at the Astoria High School Auditorium.

This season heralds an all-company cast dancing all solo and pas de deux roles for the first time since l984. Angela West as Clara and Joel Hathaway as the Nutcracker Prince, both of Seaside, and Anthony Kustura of Astoria, as Fritz, will lead a cast of more than 100 local dancers.

The Little Ballet Theatre Orchestra directed by Lee Stromquist and the Spirit Sing Children's Choir directed by Alexandra Meyer will join in the production. A candlelight reception for sponsors will be held before the evening performance on Saturday, and all children in the audience are invited to attend a candy cane reception after each performance. Tickets are on sale at Dugan's Hardware, 1665 E. Harbor in Warrenton. Tickets are $10 adults; $5 children and seniors (65 and over); $25 family (2 adults and up to 3 children); patron, $20; friend, $25; sponsors, $50. Tickets are also available at the door.
