CANNON BEACH - As part of the annual Stormy Weather Arts Festival, the Ocean Lodge hosts a martini reception in honor of artist LeslieAnn Butler from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6. Butler's show, "Party Animals," features people and pets in festive settings.

Butler is a native Oregonian who has lived in San Francisco and New England. Her work appears in private collections throughout the country and in Europe. Her clients include a former president and two Hollywood entertainers. In 2002, she was selected by Forbes Magazine as one of seven top pet portrait artists in the country. She works in acrylics on canvas, and is available for commissions. LeslieAnn is active in the community and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Oregon Humane Society. She sets aside a percentage of her art income to benefit animal charities. Butler and her husband, Howard, live in Portland Heights with their two cats and dog.
