“This is a shameless attempt to get recognition for RICHARD ROWLAND and his team of skilled potters who are working to create pots for WOMEN’S RESOURCE CENTERS in both Clatsop and Tillamook counties,” JAN MITCHELL, WRC board member told the Ear. It’s recognition that’s well deserved.

Pictured left, Richard in the ceramics studio at Clatsop Community College. Pictured right, some of the bowls that have been created. The group of potters are creating 100 bowls to be donated for the Soup Bowl Event May 19 benefitting the Clatsop County WRC. Tickets are available at DÉJÀ VU, 1389 Duane St.

“Soup, bread and desert will be included along with a chosen bowl per each purchased ticket,” Jan added. “Each bowl takes hours of careful work.” So why not go buy one, and help a good cause?
