Multi-instrumentalist Purly Gates returns bringing her mixed songbag and seasoned stage presence to Astoria Thursday, Nov. 6.

The Texas-based chanteuse accompanies her vocals with guitar, banjo, harmonica, accordion and ukulele. In addition to originals, Gates offers up 1930s and 40s swing, traditional and blues tunes.

She has shared stages with Pete Seeger, Shawn Colvin, Odetta and comedian Steve Martin.
