ARCH CAPE - Want to kiss the Blarney Stone or drink Guinness from the source?

Well, your dreams of the Emerald Isle might come true. Fire Mountain School, a private, nonprofit school located in Arch Cape serving children ages 3 through 10, has announced its annual raffle.

This year's grand prize is a trip for two to Ireland worth $4,000. The grand prizewinner can also choose to use the $4,000 to take a trip anywhere in the world. Second prize is a trip for two to Sunriver Resort in Central Oregon valued at $200. Raffle tickets are $40 and only 500 will be sold. All proceeds benefit Fire Mountain School. Tickets are available at outlets throughout the region and from Fire Mountain directly.

The prizewinners will be drawn at an Irish Dance and Benefit Party on March 15 beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Nehalem Fire Hall with the grand prizewinner being drawn at 9:30 p.m. The dance will feature live music by The Heather Christie Band, Bond Street Blues and some Irish jigs by local musician, Jeffrey Reynolds, as well as refreshments and door prizes.
