Interfaith group to meet
SEASIDE The South County Interfaith Partnership will meet at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Pig N Pancake, 323 Broadway in Seaside, to foster better understanding among faith practitioners and to nurture one another in spirit. Unitarians to choose board
The Pacific Unitarian Universalist (UU) Church will hold a service at 11 a.m. Sunday at the First Congregational Church, 820 Alameda Ave. Rev. Carol McKinley will deliver a sermon, Being the Change.
McKinley serves as coordinator of Washington State UU Voices for Justice, a statewide legislative advocacy network that addresses social, economic and environmental justice issues. She is an affiliated community minister with the Olympia (Wash.) UU Congregation and serves on the UU Pacific NW Districts Board of Directors and its Healthy Congregations Team.
A PUUF annual meeting immediately follows the service, with voting on the new board and a discussion of plans for the upcoming year.
Cameron Brister will be the facilitator, everyone is asked to bring a dish to share at the monthly potluck, and Ken Nelson will be the greeter.

Hamar Family to give concert
Astoria First Assembly of God Church, located at 1775 Seventh St., will host a benefit concert, performed by the Hamar Family, at 7 p.m. May 18. A freewill offering will be taken, and all proceeds will go to the Vacation Bible School budget.
