The Pacific Northwest Brew Cup is coming. Sept. 27, 28 and 29 to Astoria’s newly renovated historic train depot.

The Astoria Downtown Historic District Association (ADHDA) recently started organizing this Oktoberfest-style beer festival. It features at least 36 brewer-selected beers, live music, food and family games.

The event draws approximately 3,000 beer lovers from all over the Lower Columbia and up and down the coast each year. Entrance to the festival is free, and attendees can purchase a souvenir glass mug that is the official tasting glass for the weekend and individual tastes of the various beers.

The event runs from noon to 10 p.m. Sept. 27, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sept. 28 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 29.

The Brew Cup is a fundraiser for the ADHDA, a nonprofit group whose members aim to encourage community involvement and investment in preserving the character of historic downtown Astoria while promoting its health and future. Astoria is an Oregon Main Street community.
