SEASIDE — Recently two Clatsop Community College students were selected to receive scholarship assistance by the Seaside American Association of University Women (AAUW) Foundation.

Warrenton resident Julie Stough is completing Oregon transfer courses at the college, and is planning to transfer to Portland State University to obtain a degree in substance abuse counseling.

Amanda Loper of Astoria is completing coursework that will prepare her to enroll in the CCC Nursing Program. She is now volunteering at Columbia Memorial Hospital several hours each week. She is an honor roll student with a 4.0 GPA from CCC.
