SEASIDE - Staff from the Shriners Children's Hospital will hold a screening clinic Saturday to identify and enroll children in need of orthopedic and burn recovery treatment. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Providence Seaside Hospital, 725 S. Wahanna Road, anyone younger than 18 will get a brief medical exam to determine if their condition would benefit from treatment at the Shriners Children's Hospital in Portland. Children accepted for care may have cerebral palsy, bone, joint or muscle problems, clubfoot, scoliosis, burn scars, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, missing or deformed limbs, gait problems or cleft lip or palate. Admission to Shriners Hospitals is based on medical and financial need. There is no cost for medical care. For information, call 738-6731, 861-1368 or 325-5754.
