SHAWN ANN HOPE brought in the photo shown of four sisters wearing Finnish outfits from the year 1804. Why? Well, the siblings are all characters in the Astor Street Opry Company’s production of “THE REAL LEWIS AND CLARK STORY, or How Astoria Was Discovered by Finns,” which has its final performances this weekend.

Pictured from left, ARLENE HOLMES as Helmi Svenson, SANDI HILTON as Signi Svenson, RHONDA LIVELY as Lena Svenson and Shawn Ann as Elsa Svenson (the blind sister, hence, the sunglasses).

Shawn Ann is pretty fired up about being in the production, but is even more excited about dancing and singing a portion of the show (with her “sisters”) on the cruise ships when they’re in port on Mother’s Day weekend. Uff da!
