Sharing simple and fun ways to eat and exercise well for lifelong health improvement, certified diabetes educator Sunnie Bell presents a free introduction to “The Marble Method” from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the lower level of Clatsop Post 12 American Legion, 1132 Exchange St.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive a little early. Directions to the lower level of the building will be posted at the front entrance.

The class is based on her 2011 television series, “Staying Well With Sunnie Bell.” The program is open to the public; it is not necessary to be a member of the Legion to attend. The best schedule for the continuing program will be discussed and decided upon at this first meeting, where men and women of all ages, as well as teens are welcome. Special programs for younger children may be offered in the future, depending on interest.

There is no stress with this program; no weighing in, no comparison to progress of other people, no special foods or supplements to buy, and no going hungry. Instead, it is all about how easy it is to achieve good health, and how fun it can be on the right path to get there.
