The newly formed MOMS Club of Astoria holds an open house at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday in the Astoria Aquatics Center's multi-purpose room, 1997 Marine Drive.

The club is part of the only international group specifically for at-home mothers, according to Astoria club founder and president Denise Stone. Moms Offering Moms Support (MOMS) believes that staying home to raise children is a fulfilling full-time job. The organization supports at-home mothers through enriching activities for mothers, children and the whole family.

The open house is free and open to the public, and will include a social hour, refreshments, crafts and door prizes. For information, call 325-2817.
