All of Washington's Timberland libraries present Teen Read Week: Get Real @ Your Library throughout October for middle and high school teens to pick up real life books about teen life, teen interests and the world. Teen Read Week runs nationwide Oct. 16 through 22, but Timberland is celebrating all month. Visit and click on the Teen Read Week logo to find out about teen events like these:

Best Real Life Book Ever!: What's the best real life book you ever read? Tell other teens about it by filling out a "Best Real Life Book Ever!" form at your Timberland library. Watch for "Best Real Life Books Ever!" bookmarks at your library in November.

A Day in Your Real Life Photo Mosaic: Share your real life by joining the teen photo mosaic! Take a photograph on the theme, "A Day in Your Real Life." Bring your photo to the library by Oct. 15, complete an entry form and fill out a ticket for a prize drawing. For more details about the mosaic, contact your Timberland library.

Teen Read Week is an annual festival of teens and reading created by the Young Adult Library Services Association and celebrated by public libraries, schools, bookstores and other organizations.
