ARCH CAPE - Want to kiss the Blarney Stone or drink Guinness from the source? Your dreams of the Emerald Isle might come true. Fire Mountain School, a private, nonprofit school in Arch Cape serving children 3 through 10, is raffling off a trip for two to Ireland worth $4,000. The grand prize winner of the school's annual raffle can also choose to use the $4,000 to take a trip anywhere in the world. Second prize is a trip for two to Sunriver Resort in Central Oregon valued at $200. Raffle tickets are $40 and only 500 will be sold. All proceeds benefit Fire Mountain School. Tickets are available at outlets throughout the region and from Fire Mountain directly.

The prize winners will be drawn at an Irish Dance and Benefit Party beginning at 7:30 p.m. March 15 at the Nehalem Fire Hall, with the grand prize winner being drawn at 9:30 p.m. The dance will feature live music by The Heather Christie Band, Bond Street Blues and some Irish jigs by local musician Jeffrey Reynolds, as well as refreshments and door prizes.
