Danielle Chiacco of Astoria received the Paul Olum Award for outstanding achievements.

The Paul Olum Award, a trophy, honors Paul Olum, the UO president, who retired in 1989 and died in 2001. The award is sponsored by the UO Alumni Association. It recognizes the graduating senior who best exemplifies Olum's qualities-academic excellence, integrity and concern for people and dedication to UO's welfare.
