CANNON BEACH - The Cannon Beach Chorus presents "A Vocal Musician's Clinic" with Scott Tuomi, assistant professor of voice at Pacific University and conductor of the Pacific University Chamber Singers, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 at the Cannon Beach Community Presbyterian Church, 132 E. Washington St.

Tuomi maintains a private vocal studio in Portland and is Director of Music at St. Michael and All -Angels Episcopal Church where he conducts the 50 voice St. Michael's Singers. He is a founding member of the professional vocal ensemble Choral Cross-Ties and continues to sing with this group. He holds a doctorate in vocal performance and musicology from the University of Arizona.

The workshop price of $15, and includes a lunch of clam chowder made fresh at the Happy Clam in Seaside. For pre-registration, call (503) 717-1152.
