Katherine Diane Moravec, daughter of Tom and Dianna Johnson, exchanged wedding vows with Kai Antti Ahola at an outdoor wedding Saturday, June 29, 2013, at the Noble Ridge Tree Farm. The groom is the son of Curt and Shelley Ahola. They all reside in Astoria.
Pastor Bob Hutson performed the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Danielle Carlson of Astoria. Bridesmaids were Shawrron Searls, Allyson Larson and Shelly Searls, all of Astoria. Flower girl was Aspen Searls of Astoria.
Best man was Jeremy Ahola of Tigard. Groomsmen were Jeff Hawkins, Kenny Adams and Nick North, all of Astoria. Ushers were the brides brother, Rick Larson, and the grooms brother, Matt Ness. Ring bearer was Carson Hawkins of Astoria.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Astoria High School. She attended Clatsop Community College and Oregon State University, and will attend Portland State University in the fall. She is a bartender at the Big O Saloon.
The groom graduated from AHS in 2002, and from the Missoula School of Taxidermy. He works at Les Schwab in Seaside.
A reception was held at the Olney Grange. Music was provided by Lace & Lead of Portland.
The honeymoon destination was the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The couple resides in Astoria.
