Haskell-SimonsenLori Haskell of Warrenton, daughter of David and Linda Haskell of Warrenton, exchanged wedding vows with Michael Simonsen of Warrenton Aug. 9 at Community Presbyterian Church in Cannon Beach. He is the son of Mark and Kelly Simonsen of Hammond.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents in the afternoon ceremony officiated by Pastor David Robinson.
Matron of Honor was the bride's sister, Sheri Hankel of Bend. Bridesmaids were Chelsea Taylor of Burbank, Wash., Brooke Travis of Beaverton, Aleta Clute of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Kelly Snider of New York City and Julie Brown of Portland. Flower girls were the bride's and groom's nieces, Brittany Hankel of Bend and Tyla Little of Hammond.
Best Man was Derek Konidakis of Portland. Groomsmen were David "D.J." Hoggard of Warrenton, Chad Davis of Gearhart, Brian Maltman of Seaside, Mitchell Johnson of Warrenton and Kaalund Taylor of Newport. Ring bearers were the bride's and groom's nephews, Derek Hankel of Bend and Joseph Little of Hammond.
The bride is a 1995 Warrenton High School graduate who received her master's degree in education from the University of Oregon in 2000. She is a first-grade teacher at Seaside Heights Elementary School in Seaside. The groom graduated from WHS in 1997 and plans to graduate from Western Oregon University in March 2004 with a bachelor of science degree in education.
The couple honeymooned in Montego Bay, Jamaica. They plan to live in Warrenton.
