“LeANN MEYER weighs yarn delivered by LINNY ADAMSON, TIMBERLINE LODGE curator, to the ASTORIA FIBER ARTS ACADEMY,” LAWRENCE TAYLOR told the Ear about the photo shown. “The yarn will be used for weaving upholstery fabric yardage for Timberline Lodge.”

“The weaving will be supervised by MARGARET THIERRY, who has previously woven yardage for Timberline Lodge,” he explained. “When finished, the yardage will be used to reupholster the main lobby couches around the 80-foot grand fireplace. Fiber Arts Academy weavers will follow original designs by MARGERY HOFFMAN SMITH, who served as the interior designer to Timberline Lodge when it was built in 1937.”
