If you're anticipating becoming a "Super Bowl widow" this weekend, the South Pacific County Humane Society in Long Beach, Wash., has a treat for you.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, you can enjoy the "Widow's Super Bowl Therapy Weekend" at the Humane Society, 330 Second St. N.E. Help yourself to free feel-good treats such as chocolates, coffee and baked goods, and take advantage of free "therapy sessions" with a "cat therapist." Purr your way to health!

The kitties who are donating their therapy services are all residents of the Humane Society' "cat room," where felines who are certified healthy and sociable are allowed to roam freely. They don't live in cages, but have their run of the room to play, groom and snooze.

If you'd like to take some of this natural therapy home, all therapy cats will be discounted to $10 each during the event. Need extra therapy? Take home two therapy cats for $15.

There will be no football at this event. Instead of betting on the big game, you can purchase raffle tickets for $2 each or six for 10. Prizes from local merchants will be announced soon. The drawing will be held at 1 p.m. Super Bowl Sunday, and ticket holders need not be present to win.
