The 20th annual meeting of the Clatsop County Historical Society will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Heritage Museum, 1618 Exchange St.

Rex Ziak, author of "In Full View - A True and Accurate Account of Lewis and Clark's Arrival at the Pacific Ocean, and Their Search for a Winter Camp Along the Lower Columbia River," will be the featured speaker. Ziak has studied the environment and history of the Lower Columbia River region, where he has resided all his life, and has devoted many years to researching the details of Lewis and Clark's adventures. The Washington State Historical Society awarded him their David Douglas Fellowship in 1999.

Lunch will be catered by the Cannery Cafe at 1 p.m., and the program will begin shortly thereafter. Cost is $12 for CCHS members and $15 for nonmembers. For reservations or information, call 325-2203.
