Dozens of locals danced along to the beats created by the Blemabii Dance Ensemble during their performance at Clatsop Community College on Friday afternoon. The college's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council sponsored the event and worked with the organizations Kúkátónón and Just Humanitarian Group to bring the Ghanaian dancers and percussionists to the Astoria community. The groups aimed to share a piece of African and African American culture and to start conversations among different communities.
