The American Association of University Women will hold their first meeting for the year at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Flag Room of the Astoria Library, 450 10th St. The public is welcome.

Historical tales of the local branch and AAUW will be shared, and there will be reports from the summer reading program, Women INterested in Going to School (WINGS) conference and 100 Women Project. The upcoming candidates forum and Dessert Readers Theater will be discussed.
