ASTORIA — Adriane Tuttle, a native of the Pacific Northwest, has joined the staff at Coastal Family Health Center as a nurse practitioner who is bilingual in Spanish and English.

She comes to Astoria after working in the community health field in Latin America and several Northeastern cities.

Tuttle received a bachelor’s degree in biology and Spanish from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, Calif., and a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. She also completed a post-graduate residency program through Puentes de Salud, a nonprofit organization dedicated to meeting the healthcare needs of uninsured Latino immigrants in Philadelphia.

Tuttle is passionate about meeting the healthcare needs of at-risk and underserved communities, with a particular interest in Latino health.
