Perez Cesar Osiel Ramirez, aka Cesar Osiel Perez Ramirez, aka Cesar Osiel Ramirez Perez, was convicted of driving under the influence of intoxicants on Oct. 23, following a May 15 arrest by the Seaside Police Department in the 800 block of S. Holladay. He was sentenced to 15 days' jail, 24 months' probation, a three-year driver's license suspension, fined $1,505 and ordered to pay costs.

In addition to DUII, Ramirez was also charged and convicted of operating a vehicle on a bicycle trail, failure to change his name and address on his driver's license and failure to carry proof of insurance. He was fined a total of $263 and ordered to pay costs on these convictions.

Court records also show that in 2000, Ramirez was convicted of speeding twice and failure to change his name and address on his driver's license once.

In 2001, he was permitted to participate in the diversion program following an arrest for DUII and reckless driving. He completed the one year program.

On Nov. 12, 2002, he was again arrested for DUII, and also charged with resisting arrest, two counts of criminal mischief-2, failure to perform the duties of a driver and harassment. He was convicted on Aug. 14, 2002 on the DUII charge and sentenced to 20 days' jail, 18 months' probation, a one-year driver's license suspension, fined $1,005 and ordered to pay restitution of $594 and court costs. On the resisting arrest charge, he was sentenced to 18 months' probation and ordered to pay costs. The other charges were dismissed.
