The Oregon Coast Council for the Arts will sponsor a Funders Roundtable for the Oregon Coast Cultural Alliance Gathering Feb. 17 at the Astor Street Opry Co., 129 W. Bond St.
Registration takes place between 8:30 and 9 a.m.; the program is from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Arts, heritage and humanities groups, art professionals, cultural coalition members and nonprofit boards of directors are encouraged to attend.
The Alliance Gathering will focus on keeping arts, culture and humanities alive and thriving in challenging economic times; grants, local and statewide; and related topics and networking.
Highlights of the event will be a Funder Panel and Round Table Sessions with Hal Snow, Oregon Community Foundation, board member and Chairman of Grants Committee; Barbara Gibbs, Meyer Memorial Trust; Kevin LaCoste, U.S. Bank Foundation; Dave Coleman, R.J. Murdock Trust; Jennifer Allen, Oregon Humanities Council; Brian Wagner, Oregon Arts Commission; Jan Mitchell, co-chairwoman, Clatsop County Cultural Coalition; and other local grantors.
The cost, which includes lunch, is $40 for OCCA members and $50 for nonmembers. Scholarships are available. Additional attendees from the same organization pay $35 for OCCA members and $45 for nonmembers.
