A highlight of the new facility is the Applied Science Center, a 4,900-square-foot facility for applied science partnerships between scientists, students, teachers and the community.
"We are extremely proud of it and would like to thank all who played a part in its formation as well as invite participation," said science instructor Lee Cain.
Aquatic Biology II students will be on hand to help interpret future and past projects.
