The rosters for the 2010 Shrine Game have been released, and the West lineup includes several local players and a coach.

The annual contest in Baker City features some of the top seniors from the 2009 football season, from the 4A, 3A, 2A and 1A levels.

Astoria's Howard Rub will be the head coach for this year's West All-Star squad, with assistants Thor Ware (Rainier), Richard Hillsman (Central Linn) and Tony Smith (St Paul).

The West roster includes a pair of Astoria linemen - Jake Hatcher and Garrett Puckett, along with Knappa guard/linebacker Scott Lambert.

A list of alternates for the West team includes Astoria's Alex Eterno, in addition to Seaside's Erik Knutsen, who missed much of the 2009 season with an injury. Other alternates include Cody Strickland of Knappa and Josh Wheatley of Warrenton.

The 58th annual East-West Shrine All-Star game is scheduled for July 31 at Bulldog Memorial Stadium.
