Knappa 19, White's Heating 6SEASIDE - The Knappa 14-15's racked up 19 runs on 10 hits to defeat White's Heating of Seaside, 19-6, in a Babe Ruth baseball contest Monday at Broadway Field.

Dana Barendse and Harry Robertson had two hits apiece for Knappa, while Matt Miller and Ryan Spivey picked up two hits each for White's. Both of Spivey's hits were doubles.

Knappa 10, Merchants 7Andrew Kost had a double and a triple to lead Knappa past the Merchants, 10-7, Sunday at Ernie Aiken Field.

Knappa pitchers Dana Barendse and Sean Ferguson limited the Merchants to five hits, three from David Anderson and two by Mitchell Wirth.

Shane Hall had an extra-base hit for Knappa, which had nine hits off Merchants' starter Keenon Borgardt.

Knappa 8, Longshore 7A base hit to the outfield fence in the bottom of the sixth inning by Knappa's Sean Ferguson scored Brandon Clayton with the winning run, as Knappa edged Longshore 8-7, May 31 at Ernie Aiken Field.

Ferguson had a single, double and a triple to lead Knappa, while Robert Rankin went 2-for-3.

Derek Jacobson, Nick Bryan and Ferguson combined on the mound to scatter seven hits. Nick Miller had a triple and Mike Gallegos went 2-for-4 to lead Longshore.

Clayton led off the bottom of the sixth with a single before scoring on Ferguson's hit.

Knappa 16, Stop & Go 1SEASIDE - Knappa starter Derek Jacobson struck out eight of the first 10 batters he faced to lead his team to a 16-1 win over Stop & Go of Seaside, May 22 at Broadway Field. Stop & Go was playing shorthanded due to the Class 3A state playoffs.

Harry Robertson went 2-for-3 for Knappa, which had seven hits.

Knappa 4, Legion 2Nick Bryan went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Knappa to a 4-2 win over Legion May 20.

Danny Garber went the distance on the mound for Legion, allowing five hits; while four Knappa pitchers limited Legion to just four hits, three from Andrew Maclean.
