Bank of Astoria has announced that Mark Miller has joined the company as a vice president and private banking officer covering the Southwest Washington and Oregon communities.

He has been in the financial industry for the past 20 years. His breadth of experience includes underwriting, training, collections, operations management and branch management. His most recent position was in the private mortgage banking group at Wells Fargo.

Miller is a graduate of the University of Washington and holds a bachelor's degree in communications and public relations. He is Series 6 and 63 licensed for securities and has current licenses for life, health, property and casualty insurance in both Washington and Oregon.
