SEASIDE - Bank of Astoria has announced the promotion of Greg Peterson to vice president and commercial banking officer. Peterson has been with the Bank for 41/2 years, serving South Clatsop County and Tillamook County.

"Greg brings a wealth of management skills from his prior employer and I am so pleased to put those skills to work. As vice president of the bank, I will rely on Greg for input as we continue to identify the best ways to meet and exceed our clients' expectations," said Bank of Astoria President Heather Seppa.

Peterson brought 16 years of extensive sales and operations experience from the consumer package goods industry when he joined Bank of Astoria. He earned a bachelor's degree from Linfield College in McMinnville.

He is actively involved with several community service organizations, including the Clatsop County Hospice Board, Seaside Rotary Club Board and the Astoria Golf & Country Club Board.
