Astoria First Baptist Church, located at the corner of Seventh and Commercial streets, will welcome Pete and Diane Phillips at 11 a.m. Saturday to share their travels to Greece with Biblical highlights. Pete Phillips was the managing pharmacist at the Family Pharmacy in the Park Medical Building before the couple retired to Oak Harbor, Wash.

A memorial will be held for Francis Simmons in the sanctuary at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Family meal time is provided at 5 p.m. every Wednesday. The public is welcome to have dinner and enjoy live music provided by the Rivergate Youth Group. Those who attend are asked to use the Commercial Street entrance. Surplus clothing is available.
