YAMHILL - Yamhill-Carlton locked up second-place in the Cowapa League with a 5-4 win over Seaside Friday on the Tigers' home field.

Seaside (7-7) closes the regular season today at Scappoose (8-6), with the third and final playoff spot on the line (Gulls would win a head-to-head tie-breaker).

Yamhill's Heath Rhodes and Zach Anderson had three hits each in Friday's win. Cody Echauri had a three-run homer for the Tigers.
