Brownie Troop No. 1907 is a group of 13 first and second grade girls from Astor School, St. Mary's Star of the Sea School and Warrenton Grade School.

"They are making the world a better place by using money they earned selling Girl Scout cookies!" said Tori Gimple, troop leader, along with Marni Postlewait. "The troop donated 45 boxes (a $157.50 value) of Girl Scout cookies to Linda Bowser who organizes the Summer Lunch Program on April 11. The girls chose this program as their 'gift of caring' charity because it serves kids."

"They also love animals, so the troop made 123 'dog cookies' at a recent meeting." Gimple added. "When they contacted the shelter about delivery, they heard of the need for dog and cat food. They decided to donate that too! On May 3, lugging bags of food that weighed almost as much as they do, they made their delivery and got a great tour!"

Troop Members are Ghina Baker, Madison Boyle, Piper Brown, Megan Gimple, Reagan Hunt, Lucy Kissinger, Devyn Minchin, Regan Minchin, Megan Postlewait, Ellison Randall, Emma Taggart, Emeri Wilson and Haileigh Work. Nice work, girls - well done!
