LONGVIEW, Wash. - The Kiwanis Club of Mount St. Helens is hosting a Pacific Northwest Career and Job Exposition Oct. 22. The event will be at the new Cowlitz County Regional Exposition Center in Longview.

Companies such as Foster Farms, Elder Options and Columbia Bank, as well as the Perry Technical Institute in Yakima, Wash., Western Business College, and the port of Westport, are taking part.

"We have space for 66 booths, and there are still quite a few available," said club president Caren Teigen.

In addition to the employers' booths, the exposition will feature workshops for prospective employees on resumes and job planning.
