SALEM — Publicly funded workers and their allies from across the state will hold a Rally for a Better Way at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Capitol in Salem to urge legislators to adopt budget strategies designed to lessen the need to cut services and reduce jobs for vulnerable and middle-class Oregonians in the 2011-13 biennium. The rally is expected to last about 45 minutes. Carpools will embark from Astoria and Tillamook to attend.
