The Cannon Beach City Council is asking the public to attend a work session Tuesday, May 13 and suggest the qualities the next city manager should have.

The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. in City Hall.

Before the council develops a profile of applicants to give to the recruiter, it must decide what the city’s goals are and what skills, talents and character traits a new city manager should have to help the city reach those goals.

The City Council wants people to comment on what they feel are the top two priorities for the city of Cannon Beach and three character traits they feel the city manger should possess.

Those who are unable to attend the work session can send their written comments by 4 p.m. May 13 to: City of Cannon Beach, PO Box 368, Cannon Beach, OR 97110 or email to riggs@ci.cannon-beach.or.us.
