Clatskanie - Saturday will mark the final downtown market for Clatskanie as the season winds to an end.

Clatskanie Chamber of Commerce member and owner of the Flowers and Fluff store, Sherri Lumijarvi said the market will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. between Nehalem and Conner streets.

"It's the last Saturday market so we want to go out in a big boom," she said.

She said the market will feature plants, nursery stock, fresh vegetables, lavender and lots of crafts.

Two musicians, jazz saxophonist Mark Carough and local Greg Parkes will perform during the market that will also feature many varieties of food.

A kettle corn vendor will sell his wares to support Turning Point, a local food bank, Lumijarvi said.
