The Clatsop County Board of Commissioners is seeking applications from local citizens interested in filling two immediate openings on the Board of Review.

The Board of Review advises the County Assessor on the use of comparable sales figures or the income approach in assessing agricultural land. Members must be knowledgeable in farmland values. The available terms are for two years. The board usually meets one evening a year in late June or early July.

The committee is made up of two members who are appointed by the county commissioners, two members appointed by the County Assessor and a fifth member appointed by the other four members.

Applications for the appointments must be turned in by June 21 to the County Administrator's Office. Forms are available from the office at 800 Exchange St., Suite 310, by calling 325-1000, or online at (www.co.clatsop.or.us)
