Clatsop Electric, located at 160 N.E. 5th St. Suite D in Warrenton, is currently in the process of expanding into an additional suite at its current location.
"We just needed more space," said David Dunagan, president and owner of Clatsop Electric. "This expansion will help the business become even more efficient."
The business currently occupies 1,500 sq. ft. In the expansion, Clatsop Electric added 2,500 sq. ft. to its operation.
"We really need about 5,000 sq. ft. but this additional space will help us out tremendously," he said.
The space the business will be expanding into is currently occupied by Coast Rehabilitation Services. CRS will be moving into the space currently occupied by Frito-Lay, and Frito-Lay will be moving into the space formerly occupied by Coca-Cola. All three businesses are in the general vicinity of each other.
Coca-Cola has downsized its operation and no longer has a storefront on the North coast. Instead, the business will distribute its product directly from Wilsonville.
All of the moves will be taking place over the next few weeks.
Clatsop Electric is a full-service electrical company offering residential, commercial, industrial and marine electrical work with a focus on service work. The company was established in 2003, when Dunagan purchased the Clatsop County branch of Christenson Electric.
