U.S. Coast Guard cutters Alert and Fir welcome visitors enjoying the Astoria Regatta onboard for general tours of the ships from Friday to Sunday.

Tours will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Tours of the cutters are free. Visitors are requested not to bring bags or backpacks onboard. The Alert and Fir are at the 17th Street Pier, next to the Maritime Museum.

The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Steadfast has traveled to Seattle Elliott Bay as part of Seafair's Fleet Week. The 210-foot cutter from Astoria is one of several Coast Guard, U.S. Navy and Canadian Navy ships participating in Fleet Week.
