Tillamook - The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife welcomes members of the fishing public to comment on proposals for the 2005 angling regulations at public meetings being held throughout Oregon in May.

A meeting in Tillamook will be from 7 to 10 p.m. May 20 at the Oregon Department of Forestry office, 5005 Third St.

The comments received at the meetings will be considered when the Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission receives a preview of the proposed angling regulation changes at the August commission meeting and when it makes its final decisions on the 2005 Oregon sport fishing rules in September.

The proposals may be viewed at (http://www.dfw.state.or.us/ODFWhtml/InfoCntrFish/2005_regdev.htm) or requested from ODFW by calling (800) 720-6339, ext. 76200.
