WARRENTON - Sick of the illegal dumping in the Burma Road area southwest of Warrenton, City Commissioner Paul Rodriquez said he has dump truck and is willing to organize a cleanup.

Several piles of trash containing anything from childrens' clothes to old appliances can be found in the area off Delaura Beach Road, which has been a problem area for some time.

Rodriquez said an employee of his offered the truck, and he's looking for some volunteers to help pick up the garbage.

"We can get this done and help those people out there," he said.

The announcement came during the city commission meeting Wednesday night and another commissioner Gil Gramson said he had truck he'd also volunteer for any cleanup effort. Those interested in volunteering can call Rodriquez at 861-1882.
